Day 3 - The island life

Happy Thursday from sunny and warm Coco Plum Caye. The weather today is much better, very sunny and warm and we will venture out into the water soon. It's two hours ahead of the West Coast here, so we are mid afternoon and Allysha is mid-nap :)

We had a nice bonfire last night, and enjoyed talked with a staff member named Ramone. He shared his way of life with us, and had some great stories. It's much different to be in an exotic country like this, and still speak English.

The island is very nice, but very small. We have both explored pretty much all of it, and have now resorted to napping and reading. We are both very much looking forward to the second part of the trip, where we will get to see more of the city (San Pedro) and the people. Tropical life is defiantly for us, but small secluded island life isn't. :)

I'm able to get online with my iPad every so often, but no so with my computer. The first chance we get, we'll picture from Day 1, 2 & 3.

We are heading to the mainland tomorrow for a tour of the Mayan Ruins. We are both looking forward to a change in pace and a little more exploring. Please keep your fingers crossed that I get to see a moneky!
